In 1989, Tish Meeks lost her mother, Beverly Trimmer, to breast cancer. Tony Meeks’ mother, LaVerne Nickerson and step-mother, Judy Meeks are both breast cancer survivors. 3 Kisses is very passionate about supporting Susan G. Komen For The Cure and have performed at multiple races across the state of Texas. Tish also published an original story, Legacy, about the loss of her mother to breast cancer in Chicken Soup for the Recovering Soul.
After performing twice on the Spirit Course for Austin's Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, 3 Kisses was invited to headline the 2006 event at Auditorium Shores for more than 23,500 participants.


More than 27,000 people turned out in support of the Susan G. Komen Race in Houston, TX on September 30, 2006. 3 Kisses provided entertainment for the runners, walkers and volunteers.
The Susan G. Komen Ft. Worth Affiliate invited 3 Kisses to headline their race on April 15, 2006. The band performed for over 18,500 people, over 1,000 of who were breast cancer survivors.



3 Kisses performed for the second year in a row at the Susan G. Komen Race in Waco, TX for over 10,000 race participants.

San Antonio's Susan G. Komen Affiliate invited 3 Kisses to perform on their race course on April 1, 2006 for over 27,000 participants. Additionally, Tish Meeks was featured in San Antonio Woman Magazine and she and Tony made an appearance on WOAI Channel 4 on San Antonio Living to talk about their support of the race. Tish's mother, Beverly, was also remembered on the show.

November 6, 2005 marked the second performance 3 Kisses made at Austin's Susan G. Komen Race. Over 20,000 runners participated in this event.

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure began in Dallas, TX in 1983, so it was a tremendous honor when 3 Kisses were invited to perform for over 35,000 at this race on October 15, 2005.

3 Kisses made their first appearance at the Central Texas Race for the Cure in Waco on April 2, 2005 for approximately 9,000 runners.

November 7, 2004, marked the first of many performances at Susan G. Komen events for 3 Kisses. The band was invited to provide entertainment on the race course in Austin for over 19,000 runners.
